Day 1 - Mandalay Arrival (by Flight)

Upon arrival at Mandalay International Airport, you will be met, assisted and transferred to the hotel by our friendly guide. At the hotel lobby, there will be a short briefing about the tour. Later, you can relax at the hotel or you can go around the city by yourself. In the evening, our ground operation team will meet you to take the technical inspection of the motorbike and to inform you of the necessary things for the motorbike tour. Welcome dinner!

Day 2 - Ride to Pyin Oo Lwin 

This is the first day that we begin our journey and discover the truly magnificent beauty of Myanmar by motorbike. After enjoying a delicious breakfast at the hotel and checking your bike, start your day with a motorbike tour. On the first day of your motorcycle journey we do a warm up drive to Pyin Oo Lwin and stay in Pyin Oo Lwin for the night. Pyin Oo Lwin is a quaint hill station located about 67 kilometers east of Mandalay. It is a small town nestled in the Shan Hills, showing a strong influence of colonial culture. In Pyin Oo Lwin, you can check out the local market with all sorts of merchandise, cruise around town, coffee plantations, spot some colonial era mansions, visit botanical gardens, and enjoy panoramic views of waterfalls.

Day 3 - Adventure tour to Hsipaw by train  

After breakfast at the hotel, we’ll transfer to the railway station for a 6-hour train journey to Hsipaw. This scenic train journey crosses the famous Gokteik Viaduct which spans a 300-meter deep gorge in the Shan mountains and taking the train to Hsipaw over Gokteik Viaduct is a unique thing to do in Myanmar. Lunch-box on boat and arrive in the afternoon in Hsipaw which is a pleasant small town on the banks of the Dokhtawady River. Take a short evening walk around Hsipaw.

Day 4 - Sightseeing in Hsipaw 

Enjoy breakfast at a local restaurant. This morning, take a light trek around Hsipaw with a local guide. Hsipaw is a little town located on the banks of Dokhtawady river and is one of the most pristine regions in Myanmar which is locally and internationally famous for trekking through the tribal villages. You will pass paddy fields, seasonal cultivations, green mountains and stop in several villages along the way. Enjoy lunch during the trek. After that, we’ll return to Hsipaw by taking a local boat on the Dokhtawady River. Spend your night at the hotel in Hsipaw.

Day 5 - Return to Mandalay from Hsipaw 

After having breakfast, stroll around the Hsipaw market and visit Shan Haw, which is one of the last remaining examples of a traditional Shan Palace and now serves as a small museum. After that, we will leave Hsipaw early this afternoon for the six-hour drive to Pyin Oo Lwin. After arriving at Pyin Oo Lwin, we’ll continue to Mandalay by our motorbike. Arrive in Mandalay and take a rest in the hotel. Enjoy the farewell dinner at the famous local restaurant.

Day 6 - Mandalay Departure 

After breakfast at the hotel, our driver will meet you and take you to the Mandalay International Airport for your next destination. We hope you have a wonderful time on this trip with PHOE THAR GYI Travels & Tours.
