Day 01, Arrival Yangon (By AM Flight) Excursion Yangon (By Car)

Welcome to the garden city, Yangon, Myanmar !

Upon arrival at Yangon International Airport, you are welcomed by our esteem guide with your name board and transfer to the hotel for check in. After a short refreshment, visit Chaukhtatkyi Pagoda which is 72 meters long reclining Buddha image. Then proceed to City Hall, one of the most beautiful examples of mixed British colonial and traditional Burmese architecture. Sule Pagoda, over 2000 years old ancient shrine, the High Court, colonial-era Indo-Saracenic Architecture, including its clock tower and its red-bricked exterior and then visit Mahabandoola Park with its independence monument. Thereafter, visit Bogyoke Market - a shopping market with more than 2000 shops selling all kinds of products but of special mention is the beautiful exotic “Shan Bag '' velvet slippers, lacquer ware, Gems shops and all sorts of handicraft.,. [Bogyoke market is closed on Mondays and Public Holidays.] 

Then visit the magnificent Shwedagon Pagoda  located on top of Singuttara Hill, where many locals and Buddhists come to worship. The over 2500 years old pagoda was renovated several times until taking its current shape in the 15 century. All Buddhist people believe that the relics of four enlightened Buddha were enshrined in the Shwedagon pagoda.[Overnight at the Hotel peacefully]

(Yangon has a population of over five million people, Yangon is the bustling former capital of Myanmar. The city boasts verdant parks, beautiful colonial buildings and the famous Shwedagon Pagoda. Yangon was declared the capital of Myanmar in the late 19th Century by the British. They rebuilt the town after a fire destroyed it in 1841, hence the colonial influences in the architecture. The British renamed the city Rangoo, however it has been restored to its original Burmese name of Yangon since 1989 when the country was also renamed Myanmar (replacing the British name of Burma.)

 

Day 02, Yangon – Mandalay (By AM Flight), Excursion Mandalay (By Car)

This morning, our driver will meet you at the hotel and transfer to the Yangon International airport for your flight to Mandalay. 

 

Upon arrival at Mandalay International airport, our friendly guide will greet you by holding a name board. Then make a visit to Mahar Myat Muni Buddha Image the most ancient Buddha image castled in bronze in Myanmar and continue to the handicraft workshops such as bronze in Myanmar. 

This afternoon visits Mya Nan San Kyaw Palace (Royal Palace); this golden palace represents Myanmar’s Sovereignty and independence and can arouse a national patriotic spirit amongst the people of Myanmar. The Royal Palace was destroyed by a British forces air raid in March 1945 but was finally renovated and restored faithfully into its original structure in September 1993. The 89 main halls were re-built with reference to the original photographs, pictures, palm-leaf manuscripts and a miniature model.

Later head to Shwenandaw Monastery, famous for its teak carvings of Buddha myths, which adorn its walls and roofs. It is the single remaining major original structure of the original Royal Palace of today. The tour continues to Kuthodaw Pagoda, often called the world's largest book (a set of 729 huge stone slabs on which the Buddhist scriptures are inscribed). Finish the day with a visit to Mandalay Hill to watch sunset over the city plains. [Overnight at the Hotel peacefully]

(Mandalay is located 668 km north from Yangon and the last capital of the Burmese Kingdom. Mandalay embodies all the elements of Myanmar’s ancient educational, social and cultural system yet the city is also heavily influenced by many Chinese who have relocated here since Burmese foreign trade restrictions were eased.)

 

Day 03, Biking Ava, Amarapura (By Motorbike)

This morning after breakfast, start your warm-up day and your guide will take you to the place where you will start your motorbike tour. Firstly, we will head to Ava; a former capital of Myanmar for nearly 400 years. You can discover the ruins of ancient monuments and buildings dating back to the 18th century and explore the impressive monastery of Maha Aungmye Bonzon (also known as Mainu Brick Monastery); one of the finest specimens of Myanmar architecture during the Konboung Period (19th century), Bargayar Monastery which is famous for its wood carvings and teak posts. And take a short break for lunch at the local restaurant in Ava city.

After lunch, continue driving to Amarapura which is famous for U Bein Bridge, the longest teakwood bridge in the world. Take a short break near the bridge and we will walk on the bridge and watch the entire view of the sunset at the Bridge. Then we will get back to hotel and leisure at the hotel. Day 04, Mandalay – Monywa (By Motorbike)

After early breakfast, meet with our esteem guide at the hotel and drive to Monywa is a city in central Myanmar and situated on the eastern bank of the Chindwin River Mandalay Division. It lies 136 km north-west of Mandalay along the Mandalay-Budalin branch railway line. Monywa serves as a major trade center for India and Burma through Kalay yo road and Chindwin River. Upon reaching in Monywa, stop visit Hpo Win Hill; famous for its sandstone cave and unique Buddha images and precious paintings have been dated to between the 14th and 18th centuries and Shwe Ba Hill; caves and temples are carved out from the surrounding volcanic rocks and filled with ancient Buddha Images. 13th century mural paintings can be seen in some of the caves inside walls.  [Overnight at the Hotel peacefully]

 

Day 05, Monywa – Bagan (By Motorbike)

Morning visit the Thanbuddhay where a half million of Buddha images exist, Bodi Tahtaung where a thousand of Bo trees or Banyan trees and a 300-foot-long reclining Buddha image. Then drive about 2hrs to small town Pokokku, famous for cotton blankets, visit the local market, weaving industry, peanut snacks making cottage and continue to the 19th century town of Pakhangyi. Explore Phakangyi’s monasteries, the oldest wooden monasteries in Upper Myanmar. The monastery is built with 254 teak pillars.  Then continue to Bagan and check in at the hotel. Day 06, Cycling in Bagan (By Bicycle)

After breakfast at the hotel, meet with our friendly guide and start to explore Bagan and surroundings by bicycle. On this trip, you can discover many hidden temples, pagodas and touch with locals and learn about their daily life style, cultures and handicrafts, opportunity to taste Burmese local snacks and end with an amazing sunset at an elevated viewpoint. Day 07, Bagan – Kanpalat (By Car)

After early breakfast, our friendly guide will greet you at the hotel and ahead to Chauk. On arrival visit the Chauk local market and then continue Kanpelet; a small mountainside village in Chin State, set on a mountain ridge with deep valleys on both sides. Enjoy the picturesque sunset from a hill station.   [Overnight at the Hotel peacefully]

 

Day 08, Trekking to Mt. Victoria (Nat Ma Taung)

After breakfast, our friendly guide will greet you at the hotel and drive for about an hour to the base camp of Mt. Victoria; with a height of 3,053 meters above sea level and one of the ultra-prominent peaks of Southeast Asia. It Takes approximately 3 hours to hike to the top of the mountain. On the way towards the top will pass pine trees, oaks, colorful Rhododendrons flowers (Taungzalat), cherry trees, many wild orchids, several species of wildflowers and colorful butterflies. Then return to base camp and drive back to Kanpelet. [Overnight at the Hotel peacefully]

 

Day 09, Kanpelet – Mindat (By Car)

After breakfast, our friendly guide will greet you at the hotel and take an approximately 3 hour drive north to Mindat; steep in places but the scenery en route is truly spectacular. In the late afternoon you will have a chance to look around and see some of the local tribal people. [Overnight at the Hotel peacefully]

 

Day 10, Excursion Mindat (By Car + Hiking villages)

After breakfast, our friendly guide will greet you at the hotel and start visiting around Mindat and observe the different lifestyles of the ChinMakaanDai, and the Muun tribes in villages such as Num Htuang and Pan Au. We will have the pleasure to experience a performance on the nose-flute by the Chin women. The sightseeing around the villages will take about 1 to 1½ hour. We will enjoy a picnic lunch at a village house and then continue to visit a small museum where we will learn more about Chin culture and traditions. Stay overnight at a hotel in Mindat. Day 11, Excursion Mindat (By Car + Hiking villages)

After breakfast, our friendly guide will greet you at the hotel and drive for an hour to Chi Creek. On arrival, we start our trek by crossing a string-bridge. We will hike for about 2 hours up to Lote Bell Village which is located on high hills from where we will see strong wooden houses built across the rolling hills. The views are stunning, and we will also see some interesting tombstones. We then proceed to Kyardoe Village where we will see their sacrificial animals such as bulls and pigs. The skulls of these animals, collected from the surrounding forests, are used for spiritual reasons as the decoration of their houses. According to their spiritual beliefs, the decoration of the houses with these skulls shows their power, wealth, and prestige, and there is a sense of pride in doing so. You will note the number of animals which they sacrificed and the different meanings of a variety of carvings on large wood spikes. Their lifestyle is very different from the Burmese people. We then will have lunch and enjoy a Chin traditional dance performance at the village. Afterward, we hike down to cross a string-bridge which is built across the Makee Creek, and after about 1½ hour of hiking we will arrive at our car and drive up to Aye Village where we will overnight.

 

Day 12, Mindat – Bagan (By Car) 

After breakfast, our friendly guide will greet you at the hotel and start our journey back to Bagan. After 6 hours we will pass through Kyauk-Htu and Pauk townships and after another 45 minutes, we will arrive in Bagan. En route we will cross the Ayeyarwaddy River via the Pakokku Bridge which is the longest bridge in Myanmar and connects the townships of Bagan and Pakokku. Reaching at Bagan, make hotel check in and take a rest. [Overnight at the Hotel peacefully]

 

Day 13, Bagan – Yangon (By AM Flight), Excursion Yangon

After breakfast, our driver will greet you at the hotel and transfer to the Nyaung Oo airport for your flight to Yangon. 

Upon arrival, meet with our driver and transfer to the hotel for check in. The rest of the day is free at your own leisure. [Overnight at the Hotel peacefully] 

 

Day 14, Yangon to Kawthaung (By AM Flight), Kawthaung – Nyaung Oo Phee island (By Speed boat)

After breakfast, our driver will greet you at the hotel and transfer to the Yangon international airport for your flight to Kawthaung. 

Arrival to Kawthaung, drive to Victoria Cliff Hotel & Resort. After lunch at the restaurant in the resort, transfer to Myo Ma Jetty to embark speed boat riding to Nyaung Oo Phee island. Upon arrival, Nyaung Oo Phee island has a welcome drink, hanging out on the island. Before a fantastic 2 hours snorkeling at Madam beach (or snorkel choice of the day), brief to you to make sure how to use a life jacket, mask and snorkel. Then return to the island by speed boat and then relax at your room (Island style resort) surrounded by nature. Enjoy your dinner together with other overnight stay guests. Have a beachside dinner at the dining room all day, freshly grilled seafood drawn straight from the Andman Sea. It is so great to have dinner in front of the Andman Sea by enjoying a traditional basic dance of Myanmar and fire dance show. [Overnight at the Resort peacefully]

 

Day 15, Snorkeling near island

After breakfast at the beachside all day dining room, meet with your team at the meeting point on the beach or lobby and after briefing, let’s go to the snorkel of the day with a million-dollar view. Then return to the island by speed boat and relax at your room (Island style resort) surrounded by nature. Lunch at the beachside all day dining room. In the evening, leave the island for a snorkeling tour again near Nyaung Oo Phee island. After taking 3 hours snorkeling, return to the island by speed boat. Enjoy your beachside dinner all day dining room, freshly grilled seafood drawn straight from the Andaman Sea. It is so great to have dinner in front of the Andman Sea and enjoy a traditional basic dance of Myanmar and fire dance show of the Nyaung Oo Phee island. [Overnight at the Resort peacefully]

 

Day 16, Leisure at Nyaung Oo Phee Island

Enjoy breakfast at the resort and free leisure time for you to spend on the island. Lunch at the beachside all day dining room. Enjoy your beachside dinner all day dining room, freshly grilled seafood drawn straight from the Andaman Sea. It is so great to have dinner in front of the Andman Sea and enjoy a traditional basic dance of Myanmar and fire dance show of the Nyaung Oo Phee island. [Overnight at the Resort peacefully]

 

Day 17, Nyaung Oo Phee Island – Kawthaung (By Speed boat)

Enjoy breakfast at the resort and free leisure time for you to spend on the island. Then check out the room and have lunch at the beachside all day dining room. Drive to Kawthaung pier. Arrival Victoria Cliff Hotel & Resort, rest peacefully after spending some blissful time with a breathtaking sunset view of Andman Sea. [Overnight at the hotel peacefully]

 

Day 18, Kawthaung – Yangon (By PM Flight) 

After breakfast at the hotel, have some leisure time for beautiful photo shoots around the hotel. After having lunch at the hotel, relax till transfer time. Then transfer to Kawthaung airport for your flight to Yangon. 

Upon arrival at Yangon international airport, our driver will greet you and transfer to the hotel for check in. [Overnight at the hotel peacefully]

 

Day 19, Departure Yangon 

After breakfast, our driver will greet you and transfer to the Yangon international airport for your departure.
